KLRCA is the first arbitral institution in the world to launch its suite of standard form construction contracts suitable for all building construction projects in Malaysia and to be made available for free.

The Standard Form of Building Contracts by KLRCA will provide refined and user-friendly solutions that has taken into account existing lacuna, issues and user feedback to ensure the contracts reduce conflict and deadlocks while addressing issues between parties that hinder the construction process. 

These contracts are exclusively tailored to the Malaysian market and have a host of features including being CIPAA compliant and in line with the latest laws and court precedents affecting the constrution industry. The Malaysia-centric contracts will be tweaked in the coming months to meet and suit international standards for projects outside Malaysia.

The Conference is also designed to help delegates get into grips with key changes and major developments in construction law which includes a practical guide to statutory adjudication and also developments in KLRCA's New Rules which benefits the construction industry.
