With global businesses facing financial strains due to the impact of the COVID-19 movement restriction orders and lockdowns, many businesses are therefore at risk of propelling into insolvency. These concerns will be deliberated in the AIAC’s next webinar session, titled “Exploring the Intersection of Insolvency and ADR,” on Thursday, 2^nd April at 5:00 p.m. MYT (GMT +8).

This session will feature Mr. George Kelakos, Managing Partner of Kelakos Advisors LLC, and Ms. Sitpah Selvaratnam, Consultant at Tommy Thomas Advocates & Solicitors, and will be moderated by Ms. Nivvy Venkatraman, Senior International Case Counsel of the AIAC. The panel will also share their views on how Alternative Dispute Resolution (“ADR”) processes can be used to expedite the resolution of conflicts in such situations as well as provide insight on the intersection of ADR and insolvency in these scenarios.
