ADR Online - An AIAC Webinar Series - Debating the Realities of Working from Home: Tik Tok, Pyjamas, Doraemon and More
In the legal industry, one aspect of day to day practice that many firms and companies globally shied away from was the idea of working from home. Flexibility was an idea that some firms had embraced, but this generally meant working remotely once or twice a week or working reduced hours. The COVID-19 pandemic has forced many law firms and organisations to reconsider their remote working policies and the suitability of the existing infrastructure to support the same. Whilst this quick adaption to change is commendable, discussions need to take place to address the more “pressing” issues that arise from remote working – should we suit up or wear pyjamas when working from home, is acting like Doraemon the best way to ease household tension, would having a child walk in on a live broadcast spell disaster, and what is all this fuss about TikTok?
Join us on Monday, 20th April 2020, in this tongue-in-cheek debate as we hear from Celine Chelladurai, Partner at Celine & Oommen, and Sanjay Mohanasundram, Partner at Sanjay Mohan, on the topic “Debating the Realities of Working from Home: Tik Tok, Pyjamas, Doraemon and More.”
Edward Kuruvilla, Senior Associate of Christopher & Lee Ong will be the moderator for this session.
