Our next webinar, titled “Cultural Differences in International Arbitration” will be held on Wednesday, 6th May 2020 at 6:00 p.m. MYT (GMT+8).
International arbitration brings in lawyers from different jurisdictions with diverse cultural and legal backgrounds. This is one of the unique features of international arbitration which is absent from a lot of other dispute resolution mechanisms. It has shaped and developed practice in international arbitration.
In this webinar, we will discuss how “cultural differences” in international arbitration affect the conduct of arbitration proceedings. The panel will address issues such as style of written submissions, presentation of evidence, document production, cross-examination, oral hearings. The panel will share their opinions on cultural diversity in international arbitration.
