Arbitration-In-Practice (AIP) Workshop Series: Impartiality, Independence, Availability, Duties and Obligations of an Arbitrator
The AIAC Academy in collaboration with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (Malaysia Branch) (“CIArb Malaysia Branch”) is pleased to bring you the first Arbitration-In-Practice Workshop Series (“AIP Workshop”) for this year titled, “Impartiality, Independence, Availability, Duties and Obligations of an Arbitrator”.

Time: 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. MYT (GMT +8)
This virtual session will feature two experienced speakers namely, Dato’ Nitin Nadkarni (Lee Hishammuddin Allen & Gledhill) and Ms. Asya Jamaludin (CMS Singapore) who will evaluate the definition and differences between impartiality and independence, as well as assess the relevant duties and obligations of an arbitrator. The speakers will be assisted by Ms. Nereen Kaur Veriah (Christopher & Lee Ong) and Mr. Mak Hon Pan (Karen, Mak and Partners) for the tutorial session.
A registration fee of RM120.00 is applicable for this workshop and seats are limited on a first-come first-serve basis.
